Recently, QuVideo brought its senior-focused charity initiative to Taiwan, China, connecting online AI music generation with an in-person music session at Taipei Jen-Chi Senior Home.
The initiative began with "Memory Time Machine," an online campaign powered by QuVideo's AI-native music app Rythmix. It invited people to turn a family story, a familiar saying, a photo, or their own and their loved ones' voices into a personalized song.
The campaign generated nearly 200,000 impressions on social media, with creators sharing songs made from family photos and personal memories. For many participants, the experience showed how AI could turn simple words and images into music with personal meaning.
Following the online campaign, QuVideo brought the AI-generated songs to Taipei Jen-Chi Senior Home, where nearly 30 seniors took part in a special music session under the theme "AI Memory Time Machine: Sharing Emotions Through Music."
QuVideo worked with a professional local team of music therapists for the event. Alongside classic songs such as Grandma's Penghu Bay, the therapists performed AI-generated songs created with Rythmix. They adapted the songs by slowing the tempo and simplifying the lyrics while retaining their emotional core, making them more accessible to older listeners.
The seniors hummed along, clapped and tapped to the rhythm, and joined in interactive activities such as improvised lyric writing. The session created a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, the QuVideo team also brought mooncakes and festival greetings to the seniors, sharing a moment of togetherness with them.
This marks the sixth edition of QuVideo's "Class is On! Grandpa & Grandpa!" senior-focused philanthropic program. The previous five editions were held in communities across Hangzhou, using QuVideo's audio and video creation capabilities to explore themes including fraud prevention and memories of the past.
By combining online AI music generation with an offline music experience, the latest initiative explores new ways to use technology to engage and connect with older adults.
Going forward, QuVideo will continue to explore how technology and creativity can make AI creation more accessible and bring greater warmth and connection to everyday life.
