"Send me a photo of yourself, and I’ll turn it into a short video!"
Talking with abdelrahman gamal, you can feel his passion for creation almost overflowing from the chat window.
abdelrahman gamal is a long-time VivaCut user. In September 2021, at the age of 17, he joined QuVideo's Creator Program. In just six months, he became one of the platform's few highly prolific creators, producing 500 video templates for VivaCut—an average of four templates per day. So far, his personal works have accumulated over 1.2 billion views and more than 10 million uses.
But his creativity doesn't stop there.
Earlier this year, abdelrahman gamal was featured by several Egyptian media outlets. Since 2017, he has been self-taught in photography and is now regarded as the best portrait photographer in his hometown of Fayoum.
He enthusiastically shared a comparison between photos he took of himself in 2017 and in 2022, showing how much he has grown over five years. Visiting his Instagram page, one can see it filled with personal portraits, showcasing a level of craftsmanship that can only be described as "hardcore." Beyond selfies, he has photographed over 30 friends purely out of personal interest, without charging any fees.
abdelrahman gamal turns his photography into short videos for social media, adding transitions and special effects. Many viewers message him or leave comments asking how he achieves these effects. He often shares his work during chats, confidently saying, "My work will definitely leave a deep impression on you."

At 17, abdelrahman gamal is still in his final year of high school, studying computer engineering. In addition to earning income from creating VivaCut templates, he works part-time at a gas station to make some pocket money.
When asked if such a busy schedule makes life difficult, he responds with his usual confidence and optimism: "No, life is tiring, but I am capable of doing anything!"

Q: How do you manage to take good-looking photos of people?
A: I choose good photography backgrounds, and my equipment is also quite good. Photography is very meaningful to me and full of fun.

Q: After you became our creator, how did you manage to create 500 video templates in half a year?
A: When I created my first 20 videos, I received a lot of support. Since then, I make four templates every day, accumulating more and more, and now I've reached 500. It’s the encouragement from everyone that keeps me motivated to keep creating.

Q: Where did your creative inspiration come from?
A: I think about new ideas every day, and I search for most of my materials on Google.

Q: What is the difference between being a short video creator and a photo photographer？
A: I enjoy both photography and video creation. The difference is that photography requires finding locations and backgrounds and moving around outdoors, whereas video creation relies more on personal creativity and can be done conveniently at home. As long as people like my work, I will keep going.

Q: Do your family or friends know about your achievements?
A: They are proud of what I have done. Many friends recognize me on the street and greet me, and the friends who know me all like me.

Q: What do you think is the best feature of VivaCut?
A: VivaCut is an amazing app. Many people use it and enjoy it—I do too. I hope there will be more trendy templates available in the app in the future.

A: I want to continue being the most popular video creator on VivaCut, and I hope people will love my work as much as they did before.
