This edition features Marcos, the creator of Rythmix.
Marcos is from Brazil and an active member of Discord communities, passionate about music and gaming. He enjoys organizing online events, helping newcomers integrate into the community, and sharing his experiences. To him, the online world is a stage where creativity and culture flow freely. Yet outside the screen, his life once fell into silence.
Five years ago, Marcos's wife suffered a sudden stroke and could no longer speak. The long period of caregiving taught him resilience, but it also weighed heavily on his heart. During that time, he began listening extensively to gospel music, seeking peace and strength through melodies. "Music became my way to find comfort," he says.
By chance, Marcos discovered AI music creation and decided to see if he could generate an emotionally touching melody using AI. He entered his ideas into Rythmix, selecting the desired melody and mood. Soon, a warm and heartfelt gospel-style song was created. Its lyrics conveyed "peace and hope," and the melody carried a gentle power. Marcos recalls that moment as both surprising and moving, as if a long-closed window to his heart had been gently opened.
Later, at a party, he shared the song with friends. Many were touched by the melody and astonished that it was AI-generated. "I realized AI music can really move people," he said with a smile.
Since then, AI music has become Marcos's outlet for self-expression. He began experimenting with different styles, including composing Hip-Hop tracks for a GTA game server, with lyrics full of energy and street rhythm, earning praise from his friends.
In the past, music creation required complex equipment and professional knowledge. Now, with just a simple idea, mood selection, and style choice, he can generate his own musical works. AI music liberated Marcos's creativity and restored his emotional strength. "Honestly, music allows me to focus on more beautiful things; I feel much better now."
As his engagement with Rythmix grew, Marcos became an enthusiastic promoter of the app. He invites friends to try it, provides feedback to the developers, and serves as a community assistant, helping Portuguese-speaking users navigate the app and find their own way to "express through music."
Marcos is not a professional musician, yet with AI's help, he has rediscovered an emotional outlet and the healing power of music. Between the rhythms of Brazil and his faith, Marcos has regained a sense of life and inner peace.
