On April 18, the 2025 Generative AI Business Summit & the 6th Feifan Awards Ceremony, hosted by Feifan Research, was successfully held in Shanghai. Sam, Founder and CEO of QuVideo & FireflyFusion, joined Gu Junlin, Founder of Wu Wu Technology, Chen Wanfeng, Founder of Kuai Zi Technology, Mo Yu, Partner of FancyTech, and Ding Mingming, Co-founder of LynxAI, in a trend roundtable discussion themed "AI Software: Subscription Economy Innovation and Overseas Ecosystem Construction Practices".

With the new wave of AI sweeping across the globe, software enterprises going overseas are facing unprecedented opportunities for transformation. How to translate technological advantages into product value, and how to build sustainable user relationship chains around "intelligent experiences" have become new topics. In addition, it is crucial to proactively adapt to local ecological rules, conduct in-depth innovation in service forms and business models, and shift the traditional subscription system from "function-based charging" to "value-added companionship".

During the roundtable session, Sam stated that for current AI products, whether for To C or To B markets, the first thing entrepreneurial teams need to consider is the differentiated competitiveness of their products. They must conduct a comprehensive research on whether there are suitable entry points in the segmented track, and then examine user willingness to pay and customization needs in different regions such as Europe, America, Japan, and the Middle East. 111.jpg

When talking about topics related to the subscription economy, Sam mentioned that the prerequisite for overseas subscription charging is that the product strength must match user expectations and that users recognize the product’s value. The growth model of the subscription economy is essentially PLG (Product-Led Growth). For overseas growth, one approach is SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and the other is content marketing and KOL partnerships. Products need to achieve high-impact exposure on social media, then guide users to product adoption, and finally implement subscription-based operational strategies.

On the day of the summit, Feifan Research announced the winners of the 6th Feifan Awards. It is reported that the 2025 Generative AI Business Summit brought together 78 guest speakers, 240 AI founders and 219 AI investors, presenting a feast of ideas on the commercial transformation of generative AI.
